Pineapple pie is one of the easiest and most famous recipe amount food lovers. Basically, this is one kind of fruit cake. This is not too much different from another pie which we regularly eat. People usually eat this food as a dessert item after lunch and lunch. Besides, some people eat this pie as a snack. The making process of this pineapple pie is very easy.   2. Secondly, make the pineapple pie and bake it

Double layer dough for a pineapple pie

To make the double-layer dough, you have to collect some ingredients. This double-layer dough is also known as puff dough. Which is mostly used in the baking sector.  Then we will continue the creation process.


  • flour 2 cup
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Butter 0.75 cup
  • Cold water 0.3 cup

Making process

  1. To being with, take a bowl to mix all of the ingredients. It will be best if you take an electric mixer to mix. Because electric mixer all of the  elements well
  2. Then put the flour, salt, and butter in the pan. Mix with a stick. Then put the cold water into the mixer and make a dough.
  3. Then, divide the dough into two parts. Put 1 part into a pan and cover the whole pan pressing by hand. Make some holes with a spoon inside the dough so that, vapor could release easily from that dough.
  4. Then roll another piece of dough. Cut it into thin slices.

Pie Making Ingredient

  • 3 cups of pineapple
  • 1.25 cup of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of cornflower
  • 1 piece of lemon
  • 3 tablespoons of butter


Making process

  1. First of all, take a saucepan and put 3 cups of pineapple into the saucepan.
  2. Then put 0.25 cup of sugar into the pan. Cook it for a while.
  3. After some time, put up the pineapples from the saucepan and take 0.5 cups of juice from there.
  4. Put the rest of the sugar into the pan and also 3 tablespoons of corn flour into it.
  5. When the solution becomes transparent, put it down from the stove.
  6. Next, take the rest of the ingredients including the lemon juice, lemon zest, butter, and pineapple, and mix them with the solution.
  7. Pour all the mixture into the shortbread dough that we made a few times before in a pan.
  8. Finally, it is ready to bake. Turn on the oven and heat the oven until 220 degrees delicious.
  9. Bake it for 25-30 minutes.
  10. At last, it is ready to eat.


Some tips to make it tastier:

By using some tips, you can get a better and more special taste of the pineapple pie recipe.

  • First, you can use sugar syrup instead of sugar. This will give a less sweet but flavored taste to the pineapple pie. It is better if you can make this sugar caramel syrup for a long time cooking. Using these very simple steps, you can make the recipe better.
  • Secondly, use some thin slices of pineapple as garnish upside to this pie. First, take a fresh pineapple and cut it into thin slices. In the mid of the baking, take out the pie from the oven. Then put that thin slices of pineapple over the pie and put it again into the oven. By doing this, the pineapple will get a roasted flavor which will make our recipe better.
